We used a Banana Boat sunscreen according to package directions and my kids were burned very terribly. When I contacted BB about this problem, the offered to send me a refund check. I thought they were being nice. But, when I read the small, very light grey print on the check, it was essentially a buy-off. By cashing the check I would relinquish all rights to file a claim against the company. They weren’t doing me a favor. They were trying to cheaply cover their own tails for a terrible product. I wasn’t even plotting to take legal action, but this sort of terrible business practice might make someone want to do exactly that. Buy a different sunscreen. This company is not ethical.

This is a excellent broad spectrum water resistant sunscreen. Their Dri-Blok sunscreen feels better but costs more.
Unfortunately this sunscreen has “3-Way Protection.” Are you serious?! Why would I want that?
Update: For what it’s worth, 3-Way protection appears to work.

I use this for cycling in very hot and humid Atlanta weather. Despite the fact that I sweat alot, this stuff works very well. It is also very simple to apply and not greasy at all. I will buy it again.
